Our Pastor
The Rev. Mark Taylor received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University in Classics in 2004. While in attendance at Baylor, Pastor Taylor was actively involved in College Age Bible Study, and Hispanic Childrens' Ministry.
After leaving Baylor, he attended Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He graduated in 2008 with his Masters of Divinity. The following year he was accepted into the Masters of Sacred Theology Program at CTS.
During the 2008-2009 academic year, he worked on his STM with a specialty in Exegesis. His thesis work is in 17th century Lutheran Exegesis and its influence on the development of Lutheran hermeneutical principals.
In late 2009, Pastor Taylor received a call to Trinity Lutheran Church in Bridgeport, TX. He also serves as a volunteer chaplain at North Texas Community Hospital.
Pastor Taylor is married and has two children.
